Our story

From One Family's Challenge to Thousands of Patients' Confidence

StomaCloak began with a simple mission: help people living with an ostomy reclaim their confidence.

The idea was inspired by nurse Pat Camp, whose husband struggled with persistent odor concerns, moisture, and the fear of leaks after his ostomy surgery. Even when others couldn't notice, those worries affected his confidence and kept him from fully enjoying everyday life.

Determined to find a better solution, Pat partnered with longtime friend and urologist Dr. Joe Salisz, along with a team of medical and product experts, to develop something different.

The result was StomaCloak: an antimicrobial ostomy pouch cover designed to do more than simply conceal a pouch. It actively helps manage odor, moisture, and everyday comfort, giving ostomy patients one less thing to worry about.
