StomaCloak is a premium antimicrobial ostomy pouch cover designed to enhance comfort, discretion, and confidence for people living with an ostomy. It is constructed from lightweight, breathable polyester that is coated with a silver-based antimicrobial, and infused with activated carbon and zeolite to help absorb odor-causing gases and manage excess moisture that can accumulate around an ostomy pouch throughout the day. Selecting the Correct StomaCloak Size is Important!
Sizing for 1-Piece Ostomy Systems:
Most traditional 1-Piece ostomy systems will work best with a 3.50 StomaCloak cover. We always recommend the 3.50 Regular Length, but if you prefer a tighter fitting cover, you can substitute a 2.75 StomaCloak Cover. If you are using a Coloplast 1-Piece Ostomy System, you should select the 2.75 StomaCloak cover.
Sizing for 2-Piece Ostomy Systems:
Selecting a StomaCloak for a 2-Piece ostomy system is very easy. The sizing of the StomaCloak will be directly related to the size of your skin barrier (these are sometimes referred to as either a “flange” or a “wafer”).
Most manufacturers use standard sizing by inches: 1 3/4, 2 1/4, and 2 3/4. If you use one of these manufacturers, simply select the matching diameter size. Fort example, 1 3/4 would match a 1.75 StomaCloak, and a 2 1/4 flange would match a 2.25 StomaCloak.
Some manufacturers use millimeter sizing. For example, Coloplast typically uses millimeter sizing and color-coding. For example, in you use a “Blue” Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex barriers with a 40 mm barrier size, our best fitting cover would be 1.75 (44mm) StomaCloak. If you use a “Yellow” skin barrier with a 53 mm barrier size, you would select the 2.00 (50 mm) StomaCloak.
If your flange size does not exactly match one of our StomaCloak sizes, we recommend that you simply select the next larger size. You do not want to select a size that is SMALLER than your barrier. For example, if you have a 53 mm barrier size, select the 2.25 (57mm) StomaCloak. It’s ok for the StomaCloak opening to be a little bigger than the barrier, but we do not want it to be too snug, as it could restrict the flow of solids and liquids into the pouch system.

How do I choose my size?
For 2-piece systems, check your wafer box for size and pick the corresponding StomaCloak size. For 1-piece systems, just select the "One Piece" or the “3.50” StomaCloak. If you are wearing a Coloplast system, sizing can be tricky. Most Coloplast systems will use the 2.75 Diameter StomaCloak, but please feel free to call or email us with sizing questions.
How do I care for my StomaCloak?
Machine wash with mild detergent; use hot water and high heat in the dryer to "recharge" the odor-absorbing fabric. The odor features last about 40+ washes. Have a few on hand (4-5 recommended) to rotate, allowing one to be clean and ready while another is in the wash, ensuring continuous comfort.
